Title: ESP problem (Wont turn on)

High Im popping over from the mk2 section as my sister has a 2.0 FSI. Basically the ESP is off and when you try and turn it on nothing happens?
Anyone got any ideas?

Its on all the time until you turn it off. Then the symbol appears on the dials.

Thats right, sorry what I mean is its off as the symbol is on on the dash.... and pressing the button doesnt make the light go out like it used to...

Hi, Philpy...

My car had a similar problem recently, although it was intermittent.  Took it to the stealers and they replaced a throttle sensor I think.  All fixed now.
