Hi guys,
A very simple question for you.
Look at the front interior lights (in the headlining) there are two reading lights left and right.
Is there supposed to be a light in-between these two?
The rear interior lights have three lights and I was unsure about the front.
I’ve read the manual, but it’s unclear.
Your help is appreciated... cheers... Hotrod

No,
as a cost cutting exercise VW did away with the centre light at some point. My 08 GTI doesn't have it but I think my 06 did.

If you didn’t know my ED30 is 08 build, so the lights may be different on older GTIs??!!
Thanks for checking brycem.

the differences between Ed 30s and standard GTIs do not extend to different interior lighting systems. The GTI in question was built on 30 November 2007.

My GTI has a third bulb between the two map reading lights...........front and back. Could be that the spec of models for the French market is different to UK?
