He showed me some poster sized pics of the stuff he's done that he used for a gallery. I was quite suprised because he's taken pic's of Kirt Cobane, Bob Dylan, and tons of others.

He offered me the posters because they fill his parents garage up, but I've got no room for them either.

I have thought about it but I've only had my camera for 3 months and before that had no clue about photograpy at all. I'd feel a bit of a fraud as I'm a complete novice. I've not done any courses or even have any books, I just fumble about with my camera until I get stuff I think works well. I look through the manual at what the different options do and then try them out.

Looking at that Hilman Imp made me laugh, because years ago I used to see a big raster race round in the fastback version. Fast as feck and was always laughing his nuts off as he flew by. :grin:

Your work is excellent - and you dont necessarily need to have lessons or whatever - you have a 'good eye' and thats the most important thing in photography.
Without that, you could have the best equipment and all the lesons in the world and still get nowhere.
If you want to gain some 'insight' try joining a local camera club (watch out for the jerks with their penile extensions hanging round their necks tho!) or alternatively take a C&G course at your local college on a day release basis.
Freelance work can be very lucrative - been there, done that etc.... :wink:

I've got a Canon EOS 400D with the kit lens and a UV filter on it. THe fish eye is a 50 quid screw on jobbie from ebay and I have 9 quid tripod from argos!

I have thought about doing a course and I'm going to look into what's on offer for the summer term.

Doing the course will, if nothing else, add credibility to your status as a photographer in the eyes of the minions and nerds that you may wish to sell your pics to.
Another idea for some quick cash and als as a reputation booster -
Hold an exhibition (does your local library have such facilities? Check out likely venues as many only charge a percentage of sales as a fee for the use)
I did this some years back to launch my new business in Cambridge and it worked wonders -
Best of all I additionally made over a grand in a week from sales, and I didn't tell the tax man either! :laugh:

im lowered 60 on rear 55 on front (so paper work says) i bought i like it so who knows!! its a go cart tho beleve me!!! :laugh: round abouts at 60+ (ona private road officer) unaversity way in erith!! (pucker road)
