Hey - after a year of having the valver, and on the third or fourth attempt, the window is no longer held up by some wood!!!

However, the second hand motor I have doesn't work 100%.
The window goes 80% of the way up with no problem. It then slows down to a crawl. It still goes right up, just slower.
Each time I do it, it increases the speed a little, but its still slower than normal.
Any ideas?
Is the mech on its way out? Have I positioned the window wrongly??
I'm keeping the piece of wood in the car at all times just in case it decides to drop.
Cheers.

when the windows fully up...undo all the bolts holding the glass.. it sounds like its getting stiff in the frame when near the top.. move the glass until it feels free without resistence and retighten the bolts.. this should align the glass better?

Superb!

Just went out for a wee fiddle.
Slackened off the clamp things, moved the window along - but it became worse.
It became very stiff, and a couple of times I tried it - it stopped about a third of the way and and came down again.
I moved it back again, and got it to where it was in the first place. Still slow in the final third.
I can live with it, but its taken so long to fix - i'd like it 100%.
