Title: what magazines do you read?

just been pondering a few things .... i know there are other VW/car related magazines out there but for the purpose of this poll, just stick to these two.

Ditto, vw mags just don't do it for me for some reason. Much prefer Retro Rides and as Chuff said PPC

I suscribe to both but just flick throuh them. My toilet reads.

None regularly.
I sometimes flick through them while in WHSmiths, but that's about it. Hardly worth the money for me. Last time I actually bought one was about 2 years ago.
Quite like Volksworld and PPC too.

I used to buy Golf + then moved to PVW
Now I buy neither.

Either CAR or EVO for me.
Maybe PPC sometimes too  :smiley:

I always read/flick through both - normally get sent a copy of each free to work anyway but will buy them if someone else blags them from work 1st

PPC for me to and Retro Rides when that hits the shelves again soon. Have flicked through PVW and Golf+ but I like a range of motors to read about these days.

sorry but mcn for me. seeing really nice shiny cars in mags pisses me off somtimes knowing that i'll probably never have a mint nice shiny one again. kids dogs and the missus, arrgghh!!!

Have a Golf+ subscription, although I don't really read it.. flip through and check the classifieds then throw it on the huuuuge pile of golf mags dating back to the mid-nineties.

I get PVW from where i work for 20% less :grin: trying to get my boss to get Golf+ aswell as there isnt anywhere close that sells them here :huh:

i'll flick through both at y mates house but they are a bit "ooolook at my massively stretched tyres on my shiney wheels" for me. subscribe to volksworld but about to cancel that as its turned very repetitive. buy the odd copy of retro and evo

I used to read Car, (like every copy since about 1990) but stopped about 4-5 months ago when I realised I'd stopped caring about the next biggest, shiniest car.

I've replaced it with PPC which is just ace.  I just picked up the exhumed Performance Car yesterday, on which I'm yet to pass judgement. 

I occasionally buy a VW mag - Volksworld Camper and Bus this month as there's an article about Syncro-nutz who are mates, but VW mags are so badly written they're often painful to read.

PVW quite regularly, but not religiously. Thats about it really, occasionally get golf+ when ive got a long 2 magger train journey to do.

So my study is heaving with back editions of magazines :lipsrsealed: :laugh:

I Favour Evo for a Long train run, With FHM for well longness, because 9 times out of 10 theres too many other people on there to read Loaded or Front without everyone thinking your about to start wanking

i used to buy golf+ religiously but then got bored with it and started buying the odd PVW. Now i just buy either of them depending on what is on the cover

i always get both, they are both pritty good, some very nice cars and all the new bits and bobs about! some months are better than others but hey there not always going to have stuff i like!  :smiley:
