any ideas?
-
looks like it holds or mounts something to the body as it has that push and hold type fitment for a whole on the body or a plastic part.
-
where did you find it?? it could possibly be a wiring plug holder, plug fits into square part and then pushes into a hole to keep wiring tight and secure??
-
Found it in the ashtray/pocket in the cockpit!
Had it for a year now. I just presumed it was some little trim tool, but now im not so sure.
-
its a thingamigig!

Haha - thats about as close as I got to it too!
Wonder if there are any VW techs here.
By the way, its only like 2 cm big.

well...i'l led to believe that its a slide on type clip that sits under the centre console side covers of the dash.
If thats bin removed then theres probly one piece that was never put bak on....as these can sumtimes be tricky to get bak on...generally u wud put the clip bak in the hole of the framework under the panel 1st then u wud bent the plastic cover to a degree to get it to sit bak in place onto that hook.
Or it jus may comfortably jus slide onto it. Perhaps the previous owner or whoever left it there had that as a spare and u dont actually need it. but it is a cabin trim clip!?
