Post by: forzanerazzurri on 07 April 2004, 23:55
i get a clunk whenever i turn my steering wheel to the right tightly at slow speeds at the front left end.  i soundsl ike its coming fomr the axle or boot etc.  its not too loud, but u can feel it  notching through the steeing wheel . also when i brake hard to a stop then let the brakes off i get the same sort of clunk.  any ideas??

not really a clunk, but i got those brake ducts and the one on the left keeps fallin off one of its fixings and just dangles under the car and when i lock it this bumps against the wheel.

CV joint? When you turn at low speeds ''click, click, click'' ? ? ??

think gambit had a problem like that and something needed welding, not sure.
