hello, i want to make some small mods to my 1.4 golf, just wanted your opinion on what would look better. a debadged grill or a rear spoiler?
let me know what you think or if any of you have pics to show me what they look like on.

what colour car do you have? i like debadged grilles but i also like and have a black badge on my black gti with the gti badge removed to make it look cleaner.
have a butchers through the mk3 photos section there's plenty of cars with debadged grilles on there.
a rear spoiler would look good also. at the moment i'm contemplating taking mine off. not too sure what to do.

hey nath its a metallic blue colour and thanks for your advice

I had a debadged grill fitted for 2 months and have now gone back to badged... but like said before have a look at the photo section for ideas

Instead of a debadged grill, why not get your current grill and badge colour coded, would look much better.

Post some pics up!

ditch the badgless grill idea, just paint ur badge black
wot year is ur 1.4?

i was going to go for debadged grill, but decided against it and have now sprayed badge black and color coded grill (flash red), with rest of car. I have a spoiler to put on, just need to color code that and get those damn bolts off.

cheers everyone for your advice, :nerd: its 97 golf but i think what il do now is colour code the grill thats on and leave the badge. might think about spraying the badge later on but its quite a light blue golf so i think it will look good silver still. il try put some pics up later and when iv done it il show you all the result.
