Post by: vwchloe on 10 March 2008, 21:12

What? Aside from the fact you're a berk who types in capitals you've missed the point of the thread completely. You're a noob, more noob than me, & vwchloe doesn't want to hear some boyzindaclub "MK2's are the best" speech when genuinely asking for advice & suggestions.

If you've got nothing intelectual to say then stay quiet.

As for my opinions, get it as 'straight' as you can, looking as new & clean as possible then go for some subtle GTi stylings, my cars not the top of the range MK3 GTi, but I'm slowly making it close to a run out model, improved suspension, VR leathers etc.

You could change the black grill to colour coded for example (if you havn't already), things like that!

A spoiler is good so long as it's the original one or one like mine.

As for the grill, I'm debating getting a debadged grill now.

Cricky you lot are a bit defensive arnt you.... As for your comments i think it was out of order coz some people have problems with there sight (hint, hint) and find it easyier to veiw writing in big letters, and as far as im aware freedom of speech is still legal.
As for my comment regarding an opinion i feel it was well within reason and what you might regard as cheeky and in good humour.
Its knob heads like you that give us dubbers a bad name and turn our web sites into chav'ed up sh*t wholes full of mindless assholes with nothing better to do then try and woo a girl they've never even met by trying to act the big guy in the hope she might reply so you can get an errection.

If i ever see you at a meet wearing a cap, hoody or tracksuit bottoms to big around the waste and to short at the ankles i'll do you in you div....

U PLONKA!!!!!!!

I think you're a little big for your boots at 26 posts mate, I say mate, I'm just being polite as you sound like a jumped up twit. What could possibly be positive about your comments when the thread is about modding a MK3 Golf? Just irrelevant & imature, congratulations for that.

As for your "knob heads" comment, pat on the back to that, in one foul comment you've offended the majority of this forum who, like me, are here to help others. I think you'll find I'm far from 'mindless' which is what provoked you're whiney little b!tch at me, "chaved up"?? I'm far from that dick wad, if you'd spent any significant amount of time on this forum, you'd see that was far from the truth & as for "trying to woo a girl" by "trying to act the big guy" I'm actually pissing myself with laughter at what an absolute thingy you are, I have no idea who vwchloe is, nor have I ever posted or had anything to do with them, I simply stepped up to put you back in your box as you clearly have no experience in how to conduct yourself on a forum.

The thing that grates most is questioning my enthusiasm for the VW community yet you're the one slagging off other members for the VW they drive? Here's a thought, go sit in your nice little MK2, close the garage door & give the engine a nice little warm up, do us & the car a favor and take a few deep breaths hell do the world a favor!

I'm afraid you'll never see me in either a cap or a tracksuit but have no fear, I'll introduce myself if & when I ever see you, only it'll be a few hours after I've met you when you've come round. Sadly I fear that will never happen as wasters like you seem to come & go like bad weather. Pity.

I've not used any big words, & kept to only a couple of syllables at a time using relatively short sentences so hopefully you will be able to get that thick head of yours around what I've said. Here's hoping, but I doubt it.

Mods, apologies for this, he deserves it & a lot more, perhaps you can copy this to him on a PM before you delete it? Can't help but think it's worth asking!

any more replies in this arguement and i'll just delete it. none of this helps the original post.

in my opinion for the relative costs, neither of the two options will overly improve a base model golf, but if it was me it'd be a de-badged grill. i removed the spoiler from my golf for a cleaner look. anything other than a factory spoiler generally takes away form the car, rather than adds to it.

Going on the fact I didn't think much of a debadged grill...I today bought one and am just waiting for it to be sprayed to the colour of the car which should be Wednesday. I will post pics to give you an idea of what it looks like when it's done.
