Title: Brake upgrade for Mk2 GTi
Post by: tallchap on 07 April 2004, 19:23
I was told today that you can upgrade the front brakes on the Mk2 GTi using the Brembo calipers and discs supplied by SEAT for the Cupra Sport models. Apparently they fit with no problems or modifications to the std hub. Also understand that the parts are cheap from SEAT compared to an equivalent aftermarket kit.

Has anybody heard of this mod?

Is the info i've been given correct?

Cheers.

Thanks, that's a great help.

Have been offered the kit for ?400 so I guess that's a good enough deal....

Sounds good to me, as long as you got 16inch wheels or larger as those disc's are huge.
