i am in split minds as i have see a few Gtis whit the spoiler removed and it dose look good even whit the gromits covering the 3 holes.
-
Keep it, without it your back end will be all over the place
On a serious note, i think it looks  without it :/
-
I vote keep it.... why have a gti that looks like a cl?
-
Why take off the stuff that makes the GTi different from a 1.4! :undecided:
-
 okay its staying !!
-
Mines goin, i prefer the look without it, looks much smoother

Nothing wrong with a 1.4
-
i dont have one on my 1.4, but i prefer the look with it,
i bought one for £15 just gotta find some way of glueing it on
-
keep it on
-
its all about taste and what you want to create. i hvae a blue mark 3 gti 16v and iv gone for the smoked look, with black rims with a sainless steel lip. many people hate it, but some love it. all about taste
-
for me it depends on where u wanna go with how your car looks, now on a OE looking car i prefere it with it on, if i was to do some serious smoothing etc id prob loose it but it would have to have a new glass without the holes...looks wack with them in my opinion
-
kellis, where are those headlights from- just amazing. i must buy them formy smoked look

cheers dude, wow i get sooo many people ask me this, these are hella twins, pretty sought after nowdays, keep a check on the bay, their was some on here for sale but they had grey transparent covers where as mine are black like the car for that mean look..they have the smoked glass and iv fitted a HID conversion kit, just got the smoked front indicator and fogs too to match, genuine from the main dealer
-
how much you pay for the smoked main dealer ones kells.?......gonna have a go at smoking mine myself but if they look gash i'll just replace them (once i sort the friggin bodged wiring from previous owner and get indicators working)
-
many thnaks man. there are top notch for me. i already have the smoked indicator and sid repeaters and there great, just need the ones you have to top it off.
any chance of a price on them ?? spose around £150

yeah they are pretty expensive, iv seen them go for around 100 second hand matey
and nelds, the smoked fogs are 90 each, indicators are 25 and the reflectors are 15 each so pretty expensive, i got 40% off tho with my discount so i got a good deal :) but they are all Genuine VAG items so im happy
-
just looking at your car, and i would love to take yours off you and smoke it out. some black rims with a polished steel lip and those indicators would give it such a cool stance
-
holy cr@p.......£6 spray tint for me then
-
its worth the cash. even my smoked indicators look subtle and great. persoanlly pay the cash for that. its worth it

i like the dark and moody look dude, its a winner
-
all the golfs in my area are the toal opposite, all chrome and too in your face. i think its subtle and a real careful job

at the moment would like to keep on the same lines as you OEM whit mild mods
was thinking if you gona lose the spoiler you would have to lose the arches and color code the trims
