Title: What to use to clean the MAF & other bits?

Hi,

My Mk3 8v is not running at its best and I'm thinking of doing a clean up job on the MAF, throttle body, etc.  Only problem is, I don't know what I'm doing!

Does anybody have piccies to identify the necessary parts, how to dismantle them and what to use to clean them?  I've looked at the FAQs and though there is a lot there, I just wonder if anyone has got an idiot's guide to a good spring clean?

any help is much appreciated!

clean them with petrol and a toothbrush
