Im not sure if it has been mentioned on here before but is there any chance of splitting the parts for sale and parts wanted into model orientated sub boards? as it has been for the dub projects board? Its just that many parts across the model range share the same name. I just thought it would make buying and selling easier
Just a thought
Cheers

Could get a bit complicated with the whole mk2/3 golf/`rado issues to say the least
-
How could it be complicated? im a mk4 owner so don't know what you mean mate. I just thought it would be easier if you was selling a mk2 part you would stick it in the mk2 section, looking to buy a mk4 part you would look in the mk4 section
makes sense to me

some parts will fit mk2s mk3s and Rado's - so where would they list :undecided:
think thats what Taxi means

in whatever they took it off.... if it came off a mk2 then list it in the mk2 section.... if someones looking for a part for a mk2 and it can be obtained from a mk3 then all they have to do is look in both the sections. That would waste less time than everyone who comes across the post marked as 'mudflaps' looking in it to find they only fit a MK5 and not there mk2.
and rado's, i assume you mean corrado? well it is a Golf forum.....
If im talking bollocks just tell me mate, it was just a thought

Waste of time tbh, would require so much maintenance that it would end up being a mess. As mentioned so much stuff is cross compatible.

Alloy wheels, i rest my case, this would not work.
