Anyone on here have the software that generates a code from the serial number?

na, unless you can find it anywhere ( handbook/card somewhere) then you are going to have to pay.
unless freezing HU's still works but I doubt it.

some VW dealers will do it for free but it depends how they are feeeling that particular day.

Some hope here as i have managed to download a bunch of code calc`s. As yet not the right one! It did only cost a fiver but it looks so right in the dash.
