Well, that would depend on where you live.
-
i live in northampton
-
i dont know where but the conversion is around 5 grand on average!
might be cheaper to change the gearbox lol
-
ye i no wot u mean lol but since ive been in my mates one ive just wanted to do mine

Since I saw the youtube on the other thread I've dumped my VR6 conversion idea and decided to go for a 20VT eventually. So Guess I'm stuck with the 1.6 for a little while longer. (unless she dies then I'll try get a 16V GTi)

How much would that be without labour?
-
I'm guessing £3.5k?
-
Just finishing my 20v conversion myself and has cost just under £3k.
-
you can do these conversions yourself for approx £1500 and thats just a running engine. then you have the brakes to sort.
I was just looking at the TSi engines
