Title: mk2 1.8 20vt conversion
Post by: big_vw_ash on 09 March 2008, 15:06: my gearbox has just gone on my golf :( so im looking into getting my baby converted to a 20vt but i haven't really got the skill to do it myself. if anyone knows of anyone that do the conversion for a good price could you please let me know.

Post by: Jay on 09 March 2008, 18:08: Since I saw the youtube on the other thread I've dumped my VR6 conversion idea and decided to go for a 20VT eventually. So Guess I'm stuck with the 1.6 for a little while longer. (unless she dies then I'll try get a 16V GTi)

That turbo looks like a bolt on job on the gti mk2 engine :laugh:
