Title: Active subwoofer enclosures are they any good?
Post by: daniel-1986 on 07 March 2008, 19:55
are they better than a seperate sub and amp or just the same in terms of sound quality. since my last system was stolen   ive been looking at getting a new one and was looking at the FLI trap active 12"

im not too fussed about how powerful it is just want a bit of bass back in the car. a bloke from work sed he can make me a false floor for me if i get him the wood so i can secure it to that, plus the car is now alarmed and no 6x9's will be fitted this time just upgrade the 6x4's

from experiance, it wouldnt be as good as a seperate amp and sub.  but as a short term fix-you-upper, im sure it will be fine...
