Title: resonated or not?

im currently looking into a milltek full system

but they offer a resonated or a non resonated one

firstly whats the difference?

im guessin resonated is better as its more expensive?

Yeah - the price  :grin:

Lol - to be honest, just depends what you are looking for.  I do a lot of motorway miles, and hence dont want a non-res one as I dont want a boomy sound for 2 hrs - thats just going to turn into a pain in the ass.

If you want subtle performance, I think resonated is the way to go.

Well you cant really hear Millteks inside the car so if you want to hear it I would go for another system

I have the resonated with twin pipes (v6 4motion) And love it.
 As said its not too loud and ideal if your after the "rasp" without being too loud.

 I also didnt want it too boomy on motorway etc.
Tho as ash said his non resonated isnt OTT so go for that.  :smiley:

i got resonated twin on mine cant really hear it i was tinking bout gettin the straight pipe to replace the middle silencer any 1 got any ideas if they sell them seperate and how much ??

non res. all the way.

and tany performance deficit compared to a resonated will easliy be offset by a remap
