-
smoked and clear will look good smoked m3 ones are quiet nice check out venommotorsport.com
-
cheers saul i was just looking at the black lights on venommotorsport.com do you think they will clash a bit with the dark green of the car im thinking i will play safe and just go with the chrome
-
clear m3s go with any colour -the smoked will look good to if all the other lights are smoked too
-

-

you could there to be different and darken the current ones your self ? say a one of color been matt dark green / gunmetal ?
-
im gpoing to say smoked on a green one. i have the 1997 nice blue clour and iv gone for smoked indicators, headlights and taillights and with some black rims with a steel lip it looks amazing. just on the hunt for the black vw badge and a new black front grille.

I love the smoked look but i have to agree with bb here and say clear crystal looks much better with the green of the mk3 than smoked will.

Hey just thort id muddle my way into this post,
what would u guys suggest with a maroon/burguny golf with non colour coded bumpers?
Clear / Smoked?
Cheers WK
-
I've got non- colour coded bumpers like yourself and I'd say as long as the bumpers are as black as you can get them (back to black or shoe polish) then go with smoked!

i just checked out some nice lights at Body-Kit.co.uk still cant decide tho there are some nice black angel eyes on there some nice chrome details inside the light i think these will give a dragon green gti a nice look im looking to put some Kerscher Futura wheels on the car too
-
if your talking about the black angel eyes with what look like dummy rivets they are exactly the same as what i have on mine.....dead easy to fit and look really cool

anyone seen these fitted or have a pic?
-
not seen those fitted before.....are those dummy indicators or real..??....i wondered whether to get lights with indicators then smmoth the bumper off
-
they are real indicators, dont see why you couldnt wire up both sets of indicators to work together
i think they look unusual. thats why i like 'em :nerd:
they do have projectors or angel eyes in either black or chrome, i hate chrome anything unless its subtle, otherwise it looks cheap and halfords-y IMO
-
u could wire up your bumpers indicators to act as side/driving lights (like in the U.S) and then just have the headlight ones flash
-
Smoked looks good if they blend into the car.
Clear / Crystal look too much like wideboyz Lexus lights :/

Pretty sure there is a way if you make a custom loom, but the ticking rate will be alot faster and you'd have to compensate somehow.. i dont actually know what the hell im tlking about.
