At long last the wait is nearly over - picking up the Edition 30 on Saturday morning.
I have a printout of the checklist to go over the car before I hand over the cash but was wondering what standard 'delivery miles' would be?
The dealer has had the car the best part of a week - could they have registered it straight away and had it out for a 'test drive' or two giving it lots of revs from cold?
Maybe I'm being paranoid!

Less than 40
But most likely less than 20

Mine had 9 :undecided:

Trust me, it will have been thrashed hard from cold. Not by your dealers but by the factory. I know a few guys in the trade.

No point worrying about it now then.

9.8 miles, any more than 15 and questions would be asked, mind its not exactly hard to alter the dig speedo anyway.

Mine had 7 when i picked it up last Saturday ... up to 300 already!
-
be aware the Odometer can be reset once at less than 100 miles.......

Mine had 4 miles on when I went to look at it before it was registered & PDI'd. When I collected the car it had 7 miles on it. They'd been out in it to get fuel hence the extra miles.

5 miles on mine  I went down to see it the day it arrived and it had 3 on it. The petrol station was about half a mile away and so the other mile must have been PDI etc.

Mine had 5 on when I got it from a main dealer. I nearly bought it from LloydsTSB CarSelect but was put off when they told me delivery mileage can be anything up to 100 miles!! They said it was very very unlikely to have anywhere near this many miles on but that is what they classed as delivery mileage! This was confirmed by drivethedeal aswell.
