Title: Draining Front Fogs!
Post by: MowatGTI on 05 March 2008, 18:17
Hey, went to change my front fog indicator bulb just now.

Before I went to get a new bulb, I swapped the bulbs just to make sure it was definatly the bulb, and it was - the other one worked.

So, I go to Halfords, get a new one and fit it in the car park.  But then it doesn't work!

The connection for the bulb was a bit wet, and when I looked in the light from the front, noticed it was around 1/4 filled with water.

Whats the best way to drain it?

Cheers.

remove the light, pull the rubber bung from where the bulb is held and tip water out (I would take the light indoors to fully dry) and give it some silicon seal when dry
