That's the most I'd go. I still think the standard boot looks the nicest though with a colour coded spoiler and splinth. The complete flush just looks so bad imo.

i was considering flushing by tailgate a little while back - I asked on a modified car forum what they thought  and even they said it would be criminal. There a fine bunch too talk  >:(

I wouldnt have dared asked this lot for fear of the hanging (http://pages.prodigy.net/indianahawkeye/newpage13/12.gif)

Its all about personal taste, but im sticking with de locking and debadging for now  ;) :D

debadged looks good, de-lock good too.
I'll dewiper mine one day.

I just bought a mk2 tailgate for 99p off ebay so I'm trying to think of something new to do to it. I'm gonna remove the wiper as I hardly ever use mine. Just not sure what to do to it to make it special. Something that turns heads ;D

:D I like em done or left alone... as long as they are done properly they look nice.

I cant understand why ppl want to debadge thie Vee Dubs at the end of the day you should be proud of wearing the best badge  ;D

It annoyed me when my fella started using my Red Mk3 (b4 I sold it) and the first thing he did was put a debadged grille on it.  Im proud of my badges  ;D

I like the way the new audis have the number plate reccess.

Maybe adapt that to fit the golf hatchback
