Would i be right in thinking that you need the slam panel AND the bonnet?...
its a good look, just looks like it could prove to be quite hard sourcing a complete conversion including the bonnet...
also can anyone answer me this, do i need PCD adaptors to fit 'Porsche Design 90 Alloys on my mkIII. (my car is an gti 8v,totally standard)?
im guessing yes & yes
-
wheels unsure about but to do a vento front end all ya need is bonnet lights grill. and that should be it
-
yeah as stated bonnet, grille and lights unless you want the deeper/wider front vento bumper? and yes you will need hub adaptors to fit porsche alloys.. 5x130 i believe?
-
dont do it its rank .
-
swings and roundabouts mate, i dont like the extended hood badbwoy look in your sig.
-
i wouldnt advise the vento bumper. if ya want to put a fr6 splitter on it wont quite fit properly. vento vr6 splitters are hard to find argh

And if you really really want one I have a complete (allthough its not moved in 5 months) white 1.8 to get rid of!! just needs some battery power and the brakes easing....
allthough I was thinking of fitting the front to mine!! :lipsrsealed:

marmite !!
i do and dont like the vento fornt but will say seems to work on darker cars like black
-
ok thanks for the info ppl......
i would buy a vento if a) i could afford to run 3 cars b) convince my missus to buy another VW and c) drive a car that big in & around Edinburgh with out worrying about trying to find somewhere to park it
i think the front end swap would look cool, i certainly havent ever seen any on the road up here, and at least it can be changed when you get bored, mkII still has a jetta front on it
