Title: Light in the boot ?
Post by: DubFan on 03 March 2008, 20:11
I'm sure that in my old Golfs (Mk2 and Mk3) they had lights in the boot that turned on when you opened the boot, but I don't have one in this car.
Was it just something fitted to the Mk3 GTI, or was it only fitted to later model Mk3s (my old Mk3 16v was an L plate and I'm sure that had one ?

If it was just a GTI option, then I'll try to track one down and fit it.

Does anyone else have one?

I have 96 1.4 and mine has one. See if you have any wires where the light would be; left side, behind the rear light cluster.

LL ;)
