Title: Fog light covers
Post by: duffy78 on 02 March 2008, 22:38: the black plastic covers where the fog lights are, the ones with just a honey comb pattern.

Is there a replacement available for these that is the same as the grill? ie open backed?

Post by: TagnuT on 02 March 2008, 22:49: The open grills were fitted to the early cars. You can still get them. Can't remember off the top of my head.

temptation was too much , so there ordered , plan to drill out the extra bits to make it even holes all round :cool:

Surprised how much they have behind the vents! both of which are removable

Also seen a few pics on golfmkv where the holes have been cut out and the biggest problem is seeing all the cr@p behind the grilles , spoiling the visual effect.

So theres still some work to do.
