I was going to get a backbox for my 1.4 but not sure how easy they can be to fit without welding. I found one in these forums, http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=77770.0 - does anyone know if this will fit?
I am looking for a nice sounding backbox, thats all (oh ... and at a cheap price  )
Used parts are probs best for me, cheaper, so I guess best place to look is on this website. Any recommendations, gti backbox?
Cheers all,
LL ;)

universal = fits fook all. best bet is go for a backbox that is designed for that car. then it be easier to fit.

I agree...you will need an engineering degree (or the a-team) to get a universal box to fit good!
new correct fit ones cost from around £80 (check ebaa)
