Hello everybody , A complete newbie  I'm completely new to the VW scene but have always loved the look of VW's and i aspire to own one like some of the one's i've seen on here. I've just started driving lessons and after I pass i would like any golf haha. so I'm just on here to learn something more about them before I eventually perchase one.

MK1's were the prototype for the MK2's
MK2's are the only real GTI's
MK3's are boat's
MK4's not worthy of a GTI badge
