With all the wind and rain last night there were big massive puddles all over the shot which caused my car 2 miss and splutter. Then...there was a puddle across the whole road which temporarily killed my car. It cut out less than 100m after the puddle and didn't move all night! Out 2day to get it and it started alright...but....its still missing. The oil light kept on coming on 2 and was beeping. Any ideas? I suspect there may be water coming in somewhere but have no idea where. Any help much appriciated. Thanks.

check for water ingress on all ignition components and in the airbox if fitted

We gave them all the important parts a spray wi "damp start" spray. Haven't checked the airbox yet. Good thinking batman! ;) Thank goodness summer is on its way....and all the dry weather it brings with it!!!

Not if it's anything like last summer  bit of WD40 in the dizzy cap and over the ht leads :)

Spray the electronic plugs to the injectors aswell, they caused mine to miss!!

Thanks 4 the advice. What about the oil light tho? It shouldn't b flashing and beeping should it? Theres plenty oil in it.

if it got sucked in the engine could be bad news
