Title: mk1 cab 1.6???????

just got hold of  a little project it a w reg 1.6 carb my question is what engine would u suggest to put in i was thinking of a gti lump but how hard is this goin to be of course from what i can see the engine will go straight in but what about all the wiring ect ????????
any help or suggestions would be good as believe me i need some lol

got a 2.0l 9a in my cabby which is supposed to be running 160hp  :undecided:
very good torque and 130+ top end

but if you got the money 1.8t would be much better

mmmmmmmm   how much grief is this goin to cause me lol  need to find some 1 local with some know how lol
