Title: VW dealer warranty

Does anyone know if having my car remapped will void my vw dealership warranty?

I want to get it done but dont want it to voild my warranty.

hi mt8,
more then likely it will b void you r mod in the car its like insurance you mod your car and dont tell them its void buttt i am not a 100% sure but i would of thought so.
my personal view would b to sod the warranty and get it do its awesome :grin:

No it wont void it.

But if the Ecu developes a fault that wont be covered.


But all other bits that are covered under the warrenty will still be ok.

This is an age old one, even though it won't technically void it you will have one hell of a job getting things done if they find out you have remapped it.
