Title: Rear smoked gti lights ...
Post by: LazyLunatic on 29 February 2008, 19:26
How do you smoke out the rear lights?

I want to smoke out a pair of gti lights I might buy, but not sure how to do it. I want them to be a darker black so that the light casing can not be seen very well (if you know what I mean). Is it done using tint vinyl or spray?

Cheers,

LL ;)

Halfords and similar places sell cans of tint spray but becareful as sometimes it goes all orange-peely and looks gash

I tryed it once with the spray.

One light turned out fine and the other was a rough grey colour.

Ended up scrapping the idea and getting some more standards.
