I just wanted to ask what type of filter you have on your cars, i like the BMC one but they only do one for the gti 8v and VR6 is this true?
So what do you guys have in the way of induction kit or perfomance panel filter?

Had a Raidhp induction kit on my valver and was well happy with that.

What! BMC CDA fit's a 16V.... got one on mine, you need the larger one for 1600cc + with the 85mm intakes....

gt a k&n on mine n sounds well,jst need to get blowy zorst sorted cos its spoilin sound at low revs :sad:

Dude, should you not of blocked off that hose at the top of the throttle body?? Seems you'll have a big air leak of unmetered air with that as it is

The hose i've lined in red, if that isn't connected anywhere at the other end then it should be removed and blocked off with a rubber bung at the throttle body where i've put a green arrow

I use a pipercross filter. GSF did them for a good price, about half that of a K&N. Made little or no difference though.
Do the CDA intakes make a noticeable difference in power?

Yes, did a little write up not long ago but definately more torque & feels loads more pokey!
