Post by: THiNK on 29 February 2008, 11:04
Who has Cruise Control installed?

Was it factory or retro fit - and do you actually use it?

I dont, but I know it was a factory option. You can also get a retro fit version to.

I cba to get it, but it would come in handy for motorway journeys and helps save petrol as its a constant throttle rather then small minute increase and decrease of the pedal with you foot.

thats actually one of the best uses for it, in the specs, i just set it to 49 and leave it too it, don't have to worry about your average speed.

is this avail for the 2ltr 8v?

don't think so, i thought you could only do it on the 1.8T (after a certain year) and all the TDI's
