What have poeple been quoted for a 10,000 mile time and distance service?
Dealer A) T&D service (normal oil) £141. With long life oil £170.
Dealer B) T&D service £170 (they only use long life in the GTI sir.....oil).
Dealer C) SEAT dealer ( rang up as a new Cupra owner ) that will be £170 sir. Is that long life oil? The oil is specific to the car.
Folks who have had a normal T&D service how much did they charge you for the oil?
Cheers TagnuT

Mines going in on Monday for its first service, quoted £98.76 by Ventura Park, Tamworth. Didn't enquire about the type of oil though :undecided: Does it need 'longlife' if its been serviced every 10k? I don't really much about types of engine oils - anyone!?

£89.95 with long life oil. Ask for a quote on a lubrication service with long life oil, not just a 'service' otherwise you'll be quoted for an interval service - you only need an oil change at 10K on T&D servicing. I was also quoted £180 for a long life interval service.

So I've been quoted £98.76 for the lube service - which is the correct tyre of service for 10k? And I should get 'long-life' oil included, must make sure I ask! Thanks for that farina, and welcome to the forum by the way!

Someone on here got their car damaged there last time
Never used them myself.

Just had a T&D 10,000 mile service, but did specify the use of long life oil. The price on total was only £11 more than their normal T&D service price.

Shows my ignorance as I thought the VW network was meant to be a set pricing??? :embarassed:

Mine's not what you'd call free, but I did go for the full Servicing, maintenance and tyres package. I went down the other day to ask a few questions and he was okay with the fact that I had taken this option yet remapped the car.
