Title: MK4 25th Anni, not used? in a bubble.

Reading this months VW Driver and in the classifieds i seen this.

25th ANNIVERSARY GOLF GTI 1.8T petrol. Only 900 made. ZERO miles, never been driven. Silver, special alloy wheels. Recaro seats, 6-stack CD player. In Carcoon bag for 5 years.

no price , waste of a fine car, i missed out on ordering a new one , and yet in Cardiff theres one in a plastic bag !

yh longer he keeps her like tht the more valuable she will be

but lets be honest by the time the buyer has bought it and started using her her price will fall dramatically so waste of money if you ask me

Just think how much a mk1 campaign would be worth if someone did that to it back in the day.. definitely a long term investment.

Bet the wheels still corroded though :grin:

Anyone watch fith gear the other night?

In Brazil they are still making the original VW Campers and you can order them to be made brand new :)

how much are they going for? as a half decent one over heres is something like £13K and thats one from the 70's
