Title: S Mode Whine

Hey all,

I have noticed today when finding a nice country road with no traffic that when I am in high revs in DSG S mode I can hear a whine noise coming from the engine, its not really loud but it is noticable. Any one else noticed this? Any Ideas what it could be? I know its not the turbo as sounds more like a tranmision sound.

Not quite the same conditions as yours - but mine used to whine a bit in 1st gear from about 3000rpm upwards

Sounds like my girlfriends in your engine bay - don't worry she does stop whining after a bit :grin:
