Hi where is the fuel filter on the mk3 & should i only use the original part from vw?

right hand side(underneath) at the back off the car

Right beside the rear right wheel, its a cylinder about 2/3 inches across. Probably need to remove the wheel to get at it better too ;)

Its a total whore to replace though! Im gettin mine done tomo on my service, as i tried myself, its too much hassle!!!

i am right though! It really is.
Also get some new jubilee clips to attach it with :wink:

just borrow a ramp...2 minutes and its off and on!! (or bung your local trye fitter a tenner and save getting diry!)

Mine was done today on the service, he said that it had corroded to the case! doh!
