Title: Havin Probs with my MK3 Golf GTi 8v Colour Concept.Can any1 Help?

Hey ppl.Only had the Golf for jus over a month and its havin running issues.Missfires,struggles to idle properley and doesnt pick up when you want to floor it and trys to die and missfires wen you ease off the throttle.Im close to pulling my hair out. :cry:Already replaced air mass metre £80,renewed earthing to the coil as that had melted £55 and replaced Crank Impulse Angle sensor £120. :embarassed:However the problem seem intermitent.Does anyone have any ideas about what is wrong with my Golf?Its my first golf Gti and so dont know much about them.

have a look in the mk3 section as these running problems are common...loads of info in the mk3 maintanence area too

this may sound silly but have you done the simple things like give a proper service?
