Title: GTI Tailgate
Post by: 98mpart on 24 February 2008, 17:01
Hi,

Have just bought a replacement boot for my golf gti, sadly the boot i have is not a gti boot. I need to get the spoiler on somehow as there are no holes drilled into the glass, do i drill the glass? or stick it on? Any ideas?

Cheers Mart

go find a gti bit of glass and replace it.  thats what i would do personally.  my m8 has a gti glass as it was on my rotton tailgate which i replaced.

drilling the glass is possible with some diamond drill bits, not the cheapest thing in the world so using tiger seal is the easiest option. or replace the glass with gti one
