hi all i just registered on here
im currently a member of the golfmkv forum aswell.
anyway just wanted to say hello..

so your getting a balck gti?
black always looks hot in any car even more so in the gti as that red line looks awesome. i used to have a black 1 series: (http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w144/118d-Sport/118d/28042007019.jpg)
but things kept going wrong so splashed out a little more for my GTI, the laserblue colour is rare as i never see any other GTI.. only ever seen 1 other in my city.

yes laser blue is rare,and if i had the chance or found out where it is, then id have it back no question, although when i origonally enquired about a GTi black was my 1st choice but the laser blue i had was too high a spec to turn down.

It looks fab with 18' monza's.im investing in some when my new wheels arrive in 12 days or so, along with R32 smoked rear lenses.(maximus's fault!)

it came with 17" but i gota say the ride comfort is a little harder now as expected with bigger wheels
but.. im in the process of buying some audi s3 wheels

they are lighter and will give that unique look to my gti.

they are the exact same as each other but the std gti lenses are the same as all golf mk5's.  :smiley:

rear lenses are priced at about £190 inclusive of vat from Vw for the complete set of 2 inners and 2 outers. im planning to add those to my Black GTi when it comes aswell :smiley:

The mk5 gti rears look sh!te! They are too red and the same as the lesser models.
I changed mine early on for the R32 smoked ones and the car looks much much better !
