Hi guys
was thinking of taking the black trim off my 1994 mk3.
but it has holes :(
Just wondering what you think i could fill the holes with and if this was a good idea?
i could imagine more noise without em.
Cheers

what type of mk3 u driving..??.....u taking wheel arches off too..??
-
wizzkid... dont do it man!
-
a whole load of hassle tbh. colour-coding the trims might be a far easier and cheaper option?
-
Just leave them on. Colour code them if necessary but they look awful taken off. The recess behind them is far too deep

PM'd you Whizzkid

There are 'smooth' trims on fleabay right now. Buy some, get them painted & swap them with the textured ones.
-
Hmm like the sound of the smooth trims, my check em out now cheers guys.
-
they look better with them off -colour coded looks crap doesnt suit them at all.

What? Taking the trims off looks riduculous, despite there being holes left the inset where the trims should go looks silly with nothing there?!!
VR or TDi smooth/colour coded trims look great, not to mention it's a factory standard on some models.
What you talking bout willis!
