As title will a mk4 interior fit a mk3 ?????
-
Have had a look on the net but can't see any mention of it being done before.
Hell, if you can get one into a MK2 a mark 3 should be a doddle!
-
Front seats will fit with adapted/welded subframes but the rears are a complete nightmare different in every way!!!
Only know of one guy to do this and he said if he knew how much of a ball ache it would be he would have never bothered
-
yes it fits -need to modify subframes on the front seats no welding needed. and back will need to be modifyed too.
-
Thought you meant the dash too!
-
Saul if you can make a mk4 trim fit without welding you should let the dubbing world known
-
Just the seats !! as ive seen a few nice black sets on ebay and other places local and cheaper than mk3 gti interiors are goin for at the moment and as im on a tight budget with this car im just seeing if its worth while mod
-
I'm right now in the process of installing a Mk4 dash into my car, and I also have a set of leathers from a B5 Audi A4. I can't wait till it's all finished!

Saul if you can make a mk4 trim fit without welding you should let the dubbing world known
maybe i will -at a price lol
-
Mk4 seats need welding as the track is wider than the mk2 and mk3 and also the front mount is totally different the Recaro ones have a bar so it's just a case of chopping off the mount and shifting it along a bit :)
I have mk4 seats in the front of my mk2 and the backs are going in shortly. I just went to a breakers with a generator, an angle grinder and drill and robbed all the seat brackets which cost me more than the feckin seats did!!

done it mate / interior is in the for sale section-no welding
-
Come on Saul any tips or hints for doin this conversion matey
