Title: modifying my golf gti 16v

 hi all, i am a young guy and have just spent alot of money on my mark 3 gti making it mechanicly sound. just thinking about some mods to do, maybe to increase throttle response or torque. all tips and helpful comments will be appriached as i am only young and inexperienced of what i can buy

Induction kit, if you like torque I can whole heartedly recomend a BMC CDA. Amazing bit of kit!

Free flow exhaust, loads out there & free up a couple of horses too!

Otherwise just keep the revs above 3500 & you're laughing!! :evil:

 how much for that kit and what does it involve??

If that kit doesnt work out for you, or its too much, then a model specific K and N induction kit for 65 quid is worth it I think.

less than 40 mins to fit, nice sound when accelerating.... seems a bit newer too!

Ive got one of those and a genuine vw stainless backbox...

combo that sounds good!

BMC is about £150, upto a proven 12BHP on some cars so I'd guess figure for 5-6 with a decent exhaust.

Similar to the K&N, 40mins to fit & run the piping.
