a good close up shot of a MK5 dash and/or the air diffuser area on top of the dash?

I had to take it to bits last night to resite my retofitted gps antenna and it doesnt look right since. I never noticed the quite large gaps where the surrounds meet the actual dash. It might just be me being paranoid though  :laugh:

Duzza sorry i cant help, but does that bit serve any purpose as i am thinking of taking mine out and fitting the acc tray?
Is it easy to remove as i am going to fit an rcd500 at weekend.
