Title: Removing Radiater
Post by: tony gti on 21 February 2008, 12:52
I need to change the radiater on my mk3 8v GTi.According to the Haynes manual I need to remove the following:both headlights, grill, front bumper and bumper re-inforcing bar.Is this correct?

Also,is there any other jobs worth doing whilst I have the front end apart?

thanks in advance

Yeah that is correct, also if you have aircon its a pig to get the old rad out from behind the aircon rad which sits in front of the rad without disconnecting it but you can do it !!

That sounds about right! Never found Haynes to be wrong about what you have to take off.
