Seen a little trick to discover if it is the leads a while ago when my dads ford was missfiring, he took out the leads one at a time and plugged a spark plug into it and layed it down, then he got his mate to turn the engine over and see if the plug sparked,  he then repeated this until he found one of the plugs not sparking

que a new set of ht leads

did you align it back to top dead centre? I know you have to do this on mk4's, we changed a head the other week on my mates car

Common problem with vauxhalls, but there's a relatively simple solution involving a can of petrol and some matches, a phonecall to an insurance company, followed by a visit to a VW dealership.
