Tried lookin the the boot and cant find anything can anyone shed some light please?
Thanks
-
u shure theres not a white sticker in the boot , kind of underneath to the side of the rear lights
-
Nope just been out to check, theres an orange sticker than says something LACK :S lol
-
front page of service book?
or you can get it from the VIN number if you give the dealer a quick call
-
Has anyone got any idea what it could be anyway?
1994 mk3 Maroon? any ideas?
Says on MOT Certificate: Red :S lol
-
if the stickers not in the boot (either in the wheel well or on the inside rear panel) its back to vw to ask!
-
Ahh right ill have a look tommorow.
Anyone fancy posting a pic where theres is so i know what im looking for :p
-
go in the boot, lift up the carpet where u keep the spare wheel, there should be a white sticker that tell you engine code, and paint code etc, i checked mine today cos i was going the Halfrauds for paint
-
Ok will ina sec, underneath the wheel then?
-
mine was next to my wheel, to the right, didnt need to touch wheel
-
Nope just check all over the boot and still no sign of it.
Any other way of checking other than ringing VW?
-
have you looked at the codes in the front of the manual yet?
-
i didnt get a personal manual i got a universal sort of 1 talks about the car in general not my atcual 1
-
so no service book and no white sticker in the boot, -if theres no sticker in the back its normally been rear ended .there always there ,mine is on the right side off the wheel well -closer to the back seats before the cover plate for fuel sender.
-
Mines under the boot carpet as bradley said by the boot carpet. Says the nmber plate, engine code, and paint code n stuff.
