Title: 17's how low can i go?

Mk 3 GTI on 17's if they are the correct offset,how low can i go 40mm front/rear?? or lower at all,obviously with out any scrubbing or modification to arches..........any help/advice appreciated. thanks

im dropped 50mm on 17`s and only get slight rubbage from fronts if im at full lock. (going up a ramp or somthing)

thats on a mk2  tho.   


iv seen loads of mk3`s with 17s on em dropped at least 40mm.      try asking in the mk3 section  :smiley:

My Mk3 is dropped 40mm on 17's with no probs!

my mk2 was slammed big style on 17's but with pleanty of arch work... i've since put 40mm and it looked like it was on stilts, so i put 15's on and it looks a little bit better...

i'd save your money and buy some coilies and then just wind them down and see...

mines lower than lexington steels cock and is fine, only a little rubbing now and then but i am going to sort the arch that rubs with a hammer!  :wink:  :rolleyes:
