Im pretty sure its the bottom of the range 1.9 tdi. 70k miles.Very very good price.....but anyway....
Fisrtly, what are the immediate things i should do to make this car look better inside and out. What weels etc etc pics would really help.
Dont know if im taking the p*ss but i searched the www and this website came up trumps.
Hope this link works.

well spotted, either that or its been used for some jiggy jiggy ;-)

i do question myself about the dents, apart from somone running up the car,i cant think of logical ay for that to happen.
Also quite bad scratches on every panel, but like i said family etc etc.
So,anyone help,?

Does your family work for Tony Soprano or something?

Well,as of yet,you lot have been about as much help as an ashtray on a motorbike...................

Finally,thanks.
The one question i have is....does putting 18s make the ride too hard?
-
no....the R32 and ED30 come standard with 18s and is even an option on most other Golf models. If 18s would make the ride too hard i dont think VW would offer them?

lol, I was just having a laugh in the safe knowledge that my cousins in the MK5 section would come threw in the end.

Depending on how far you want to go, all GTI parts are available on ebay most of the time. Or if you want to keep a standard sort of look ABT and Caractere do some nice bumpers for your model.

I dont want the max power look.
Just sleek and stylish.

I would say that is sleek and stylish. Definately not 'max power' IMO. Suprising how much better the standard golf front looks with a nice front splitter
-
That front splitter isnt a million miles off what the ED30 is, if anything id say it looks just like it.

http://uk-mkivs.net/forums/thread/1038899.aspx Front end conversion
R32 Side skirts colour coded
GT 170 or GTi rear bottom half of bumper
Gti/ED30 spoiler
GT Classix wheels
15mm drop same as GT/GTi
Just don't badge it up to be something it's not

I would also guess that the Gti and R32 come with different suspension setups.. so i am guessing the ride on the tdi wont be effected too much.

The MFD 2 Nav (off ebay) really lifts the interior and is easy to fit.
