The mk1,2,3 and according to concept pics mk5, all GOLF GTI's have had a GTI badge in the front grill.

Why didnt the mk4? (not including Anniversary) .. the V5, V6 and R32 all have grill badges...

 ???

anni models had one thats where we all get our from there anni part numbers!! lol

dunno why they didnt put em on as standard as the mk4 looks bland at the front so you cant really tell a gti from another golf unless you know how to look at the headlight internals or the lower stance!! lol

cause the clever people at vw new that real gti owners will want the badge an buy it from them!!! hence the name "stealers" ha ha
