Title: remote central locking on a mk3?
Post by: lexie on 17 February 2008, 11:47: just a quick question, did any of the mk3's ever come with remote central locking or was it just central locking?

Still not all post 96 models have them. My 96 valver didn't

Post by: boneybradley on 17 February 2008, 14:07: i stand corrected....In my original build sheet (luckily my car came with every receipt including the build data)...the 95 golf came with electronic immobiliser and vw anti theft system (central locking with deadlocks). mine also has the factory option of full closure remote controlled central locking cost Ã‚£160 when new!!

I have the OE fobs, but it plays up now and again, how hard is it to replace the fob, how much needs doing?
